Test Fit and Financial Modeling
Marlborough, MA

In collaboration with Michael J. Berry, structural engineer,provided a local developer with test fit and financial scenario modeling for two level residential townhouse addition to building block located in downtown Marlborough. The challenge for Davis Architects and their consulting engineer was to allow for continued bank operations while construction would commence.

Office Renovation: Accessibility and Construction Services
Hudson, MA

Provided Dance On Studios, a highly respected educational arts business with expanded office and instruction space. Services included: accessibility evaluation, code evaluation, design and construction drawing and administrative services.

Boston Lying-In Hospital Facility Upgrades
Brigham & Women's campus, Boston, MA

Provided facility masterplan direction to senior management for a proposed five year staged upgrade of life safety and mechanical system upgrades. In addition, Glenn R. Davis provided extensive project management fully coordinated with the Brigham & Women's facility department.

Structural and architectural services
Natick, MA

In collaboration with Michael J. Berry, structural engineer, provided non-profit Natick Community Organic Farm with structural and advisement services to consider installation of photovoltaic arrays over a 200 year old barn within the farm. The challenge for Davis Architects and Berry was to minimize modification of the existing barn structure while compensating for additional roof loads borne by the photovoltaic system. In addition, Davis Architects provided code advisory services and marketing materials for greater fundraising capabilities.

Provided extensive on-site project management in a compressed deadline, while providing necessary design direction to increase projected revenues and to select preferred display options.

Exeter Town Hall
Exeter, NH

For a highly used town hall facility Davis Architects and Platt/Hichborn Architects LLC examined the town's accessibility needs and designed a new vestibule and elevator to serve public areas, including a community space with stage, town offices, and performance loft areas. The renovation resulted in a successful expansion of the town hall's potential for use by more citizenry.

Turner's Falls Heritage State Park
Turner's Falls, MA

Provided masterplanning, design and project management services for a unique historical museum complex, highlighting the central MA. region's industrial link to the Connecticut River. Proposed boat docks and walkways required extensive interaction with the Army Corps of Engineers. with Warren Freedenfeld & Associates, Inc.
